Purpose
 Our purpose as a church is to fulfill the Great Commission, given to us by Jesus in Matthew 28:18-20, where He said, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
Our mission statement reflects that purpose
“We exist to introduce people to Jesus Christ, help them to know Him personally as Savior, and to guide them into a life completely committed to following Him. The life that God intends all people to live is a journey of faith. We exist to help people in all stages of that journey.”
As a church we carry out that purpose through the following five functions:
1. Evangelism
2. Discipleship
3. Worship
4. Ministry
5. Fellowship
Our motto, “Here for Him…Here for You” reflects the working of these functions to magnify Christ, make Him known to people who do not have a relationship with Him, move believers toward obedience and Christian maturity, and minister to others in His name. |
