Hello for the first time from the Big Island of Madagascar! I just wanted to check in and let you know that my second survey trip to Madagascar has been very productive. We have been able to get a lot of questions answered for our arrival here after language school. We were also able to get some survey work done in a couple of different places. One, via a bush plane ride 3 hours north; before landing, my prayer life was very active! The second was to a town to the south where we may finish our language training once we get here permanently. It was a huge help that our missions pastor came and was able to ask questions because of his experience that I would have never thought to ask. Meanwhile, Vala has been home, diligently working on getting our things packed and the house ready to move out. One of the things that has really hit home for me on this trip is the fact that we are leaving 2 of our 4 kids behind. This Father’s Day will be a special one for us because this will probably be the last Father’s Day to have all 4 kids at home. I am thankful the Lord gave us this time with the kids between now and when we leave for language school in August. Thank you for keeping us in your prayers and please know we are praying for you.
