It was agreed that a Skype interview should be conducted with the remaining two candidates; Michael Elliot and Joe Ferreira.
Jeremy contacted Michael Elliott and Joe Ferreira on Friday, August 4, 2017 to get their birthdate to do a criminal background search. He had a good conversation with both candidates. He reported that both are wanting God’s will and will be content in whatever He reveals to us.
It was agreed that a credit check should be conducted on both candidates.
A Skype/phone call interview will be tentatively scheduled with Michael Elliott Wednesday, August 9th after evening service.
Jeff Garrison volunteered to make an undercover visit to the candidates’ church. The deacons appreciated his willingness and heart, but agreed that this type of activity should be kept within the pulpit committee.
Amanda Kirkwood’s parents will be contacted in reference to Michael Elliott.
A Skype/phone call interview will be tentatively scheduled with Joe Ferreira Saturday morning, August 12th.
Phone interview questions were drafted for both candidates.
