Topic 1 – Jeff Garrison asked Pastor Joe for a job both times he visited (possibly Worship Pastor or Visitation Pastor). Joe told Jeff he didn’t even have the job yet. Deacons were all in agreement, as well as Pastor Joe, that Jeff should not be brought on staff in that capacity. Need to figure out the best way to communicate this to Jeff.
Topic 2 – Steve Kirkwood had asked about CBT hosting The Hope Center’s annual Bingo fund raiser again this year. Purse Bingo was not specified in the request. Even though it is for a good cause, everyone felt we should not host an event that could give the appearance that CBT endorses gambling.
