Officer elections:
Chairman – Charlie Cox
Vice-Chairman – Wayne Hudson
Secretary – Dave Roberts
Pastor Joe – Consider moving communion from 2 to 4 times per year. All deacons agreed.
Pastor Joe recommended that after communion, a benevolent offering would be taken. The money would to be distributed to church members who need assistance with utilities bills, medical bills, etc.
Wayne Hudson agreed to draft a document defining the logistics of the benevolent distribution.
Pastor Joe would like to step out of the roll of speaking on Sunday evenings. He believes this would give him more balance to be a preacher as well as a shepherd. A rotation with others was a consideration.
