MINISTRIES
WORSHIP
We sing songs that are biblically-centered and Christ-honoring. Our musical style may be best characterized as “blended,” meaning we enjoy everything from contemporary, traditional, and more. We feel that style isn’t nearly as important as the One we’re singing about.
Ultimately, our prayer is that when you attend a worship service at Temple, you’ll leave having spent time worshipping the One who is worthy of our praise – Jesus Christ!
Video and Live Streaming
Our T3 team volunteers help to provide online streaming of our worship services each week. This way, if you’re unable to worship with us in person, you can still study God’s Word with us!
Senior Adults
Our senior adult ministry offers various events and activities.

Community Outreach
Our community outreach includes a Food Pantry (food donations made to the church office), Friends of the Lord’s Table (feeding the hungry on Monday Nights – 2x’s a month), and Mats for the Homeless (Tuesday/Thursdays @ 1PM – January through April)
Women
In our Women’s Ministry, we are committed to connecting women to Jesus and one another. We hope that you’ll join us as we seek Jesus, study His Word, and build community together.
Our Women’s Ministry hosts events for fellowship and service, including conferences, crafting, and Bible studies. All ladies are welcome to join!
Sonshiner’s
Baptist Temple offers a class for adults with special needs called our “Sonshine” Ministry. They meet on Sunday mornings at 10:30am in room 113.
This class is a fun environment where they can be themselves, learn about Jesus, and worship the Lord in song! We offer refreshments (coffee, sugar-free Kool-Aid, sugar-free cookies) and an occasional pizza party as well. This class features a special time of learning Bible verses and trivia with rewards like winning items from the prize box. We also have a special time of sharing prayer requests and praying for each other.
Sonshiners also have the opportunity to recite their memory verses and songs in our main worship services two or three times per year. This is a special time for them as they have the opportunity to share with our church family all they’ve been learning.
This class includes adults from age 20 through 70 and up. And although many of our Sonshiners come from group homes, we welcome anyone who wishes to join us as we learn more about Jesus!
International Missions
At Baptist Temple, our commission is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ into all the world. We strive to do this locally and internationally through our World Missions Ministry. We support faithful missionary families all over the world – check out our church bulletin for a weekly “Missionary Spotlight” and more information about our missionaries.
Joshua’s Men
We believe when a man is transformed by Christ, and discipled by others, that can have lasting significance. If we can reach the man and have a positive change, then we believe that a man can change his family. And if he can change his family then he can help change his community, and if the community’s being touched positively, then ultimately he can touch the world.
Our men’s discipleship group (JOSHUA’S MEN) meets every Saturday at 7 AM for a verse-by-verse Bible study, aimed at nurturing godly men to lead our families and church.
Transportation
Do you need a ride to church? Sometimes getting transportation can be hard, but we don’t want that to be what stops you from attending Baptist Temple.
If you are needing a ride, give us a call and we’ll schedule for you to be picked up so you can be a part of what God is doing here!
