OUR COMMUNITY
We seek to be a family-friendly church focused on being a safe place for the Whole Family. Though we’re made up of people from all ages and backgrounds, we have one thing in common – our love for God and each other! Everyone is encouraged to grab free donuts and coffee each Sunday.
THE MESSAGE
At Baptist Temple, every message is firmly rooted in the truth of God’s Word. Our preaching is Bible-centered, practical, and designed to help believers grow in their faith. We encourage you to bring your Bible, and if you don’t have a copy of the Scriptures, you can pick up a free Bible at our Welcome Center.

Our Sunday morning worship services are usually a little over an hour long. They include an uplifting time of praise and worship through song, preaching, and time for personal reflection and decision making. Our music style could be considered “blended.” We enjoy modern contemporary songs and also sing fresh, newer arrangements of hymns. Our music is led by our music director, band and singers.
We no longer pass offering plates during our services. However, there are offering boxes located in our main lobby and Welcome Center if you would like to give. This provides our church family an opportunity to worship through the Biblical principle of giving. However, visitors are not expected to participate unless they feel led to do so.

Our Sunday morning service begins at 10:30am. We encourage visitors to arrive a little early so that you can find a parking spot and make your way to the main auditorium (we also have FREE coffee and donuts available in our cafe from 9:00am-10:30am). If you have children you’re encouraged to drop them off for Kids Church in the Family Life Center (the building that houses our gym, kids rooms, and teen ministry) which also begins at 10:30am. Our nurseries (0-3 years) are located in the main building just off the lobby. If you arrive for Sunday School (9:30am) our greeters will be happy to help you find a class for you and the other members of your family.

On a typical Sunday the majority of our congregation wears casual or business casual attire. However, our main concern is not about what you’re wearing – we’re just glad you’re here!

Nursery care is available during all our services for infants and toddlers and is located in our main building near the worship center, just off the main lobby. Our nurseries are safe, vibrant rooms with many fun and engaging activities for your children.
We also have children’s church during the Sunday morning worship hour (10:30am), and Sunday School at 9:30am. Both the children’s church and nursery are staffed by loving, capable adults who have all been screened and trained to serve.

Temple Kids (for children during the school year) and our Teen Ministry meet on Wednesdays in our Family Life Center. We also offer many other special events and activities for children and teens throughout the year!

Our campus is located on the east side of Connersville, Indiana, right off of State Road 44. Our main building (west side of property) houses our worship center, cafe, classrooms and church offices. Our Family Life Center is home to our Temple Kids Ministry, Children’s Sunday School classrooms, our Team K.I.D. program (during school months), a large kitchen, gym and Teen Ministry.
